I was wondering if you were going to post on Christmas. I'm looking forward to it! Got the whole week off so I'll be relaxing with the fam! Oh man, Casca's wardrobe in this section just gives me fits!! It is the thinnest, most diaphanous chemise ever!!!!!!! Well, at least she can move in it unincumbered... I guess. Serpico saved the kid!! Yes, there is a lot more to him than meets the eye and I love both Farnese and Serpico dearly. Ok, Farnese is a bit of a freak but who isn't? hahahahah! What happened to Lady Farnese as a child is very much a tragedy in my eyes. It's religious indoctrination of the most insidious kind. In order for her to feel loved, part of a group, and accepted, she was praised for setting heretics on fire. Sometimes, we make our own little monsters and then they behave like monsters, and we wonder why. That last panel of her, she is crying and reassuring herself that she is the good person, she is not wrong. It's very sad really. Those deluxe editions are very expensive! I buy them ahead of time so when they ship, it's taken out of my bank account and I'm like, "oh, it's Berkin Time! " No really, they publish three times a year so I can budget for it. If you get them all at once its, hard. I've been collecting them since before they were published, so it's not too bad. Also, the chapters were weekly at first, then monthly, then they kept on getting published with longer intervals in between. There is a chart somewhere with this illustrated. Then the hiatus started to happen. The infamous "Boat" took 9 years to complete. Before Miura died, we were getting maybe 3 chapters a year if we were lucky. This past year we got 6-7... something like that. I hope we get at least 10 chapters a year going forward, I'd be happy with that. AAANNNND NINA TOOK HER!! This is why nobody likes Nina. Not only is she whiney, but she took Casca!!! I actually do feel bad for Nina, yeah, she is a loathsome person and a coward, but who is to say that any of us would behave any better given the circumstances? Puck is SeeN?? What???? Why???? Isidro has his moments!!!! He is definitely hilarious here and a very precocious child for sure!! But he has spirit!
