Katy, from a reward II (true, this time) (Patreon)

This is actually the second illustration from the emperor's rewards I made this month that I've re-elaborated with Clip Studio, adding new effects and... covering something. This is also my favourite of the ten I made, for many reasons: first of all, it caught Katy in a very funny situation, and funny things make me laugh. This isn't actually a scene from the comic, because Katy didn't undress herself soon after she falls in the river, after the fly out of Pontefico, we know she received a new outfit from Baba and then she spent the entire night fixing it on her measures. But still, I think that pin-up can create imaginary situations just for the pleasure of see them, even if the situation is not realistic or completely anachronistic, so I enjoyed this vision of Katy. Second reason: we can see Katy for entire (only few poses allow this). And for last, the pose itself is cute.

Questa è la vera seconda illustrazione scelta tra le ricompense Emperor del mese e rielaborata con Clip Studio che vi avevo promesso. È anche la mia ricompensa preferita tra le dieci che ho realizzato, per diverse ragioni. La prima è che cattura Katy in una situazione molto buffa, e le cose buffe mi divertono. Non è nemmeno una scena tratta dal fumetto, perché sappiamo che Katy non si è spogliata immediatamente degli abiti zuppi quando è finita nel fiume fuggendo da Pontefico. Invece, ha speso la notte ad aggiustare il vestito nuovo donatole da Baba Yaga, prima di cambiarsi. Nonostante questo, ho apprezzato questo riferimento al fumetto, perché ritengo che le pin-up abbiano la facoltà di creare situazioni interessanti nelle quali aver luogo, a prescindere dal fatto che la situazione in sé sia realistica o meno, oppure fedele o meno al contesto da cui è tratta. In secondo luogo qui possiamo vedere Katy per intero! Una cosa che capita poche volte, perché spesso il l'inquadratura ravvicinata (che io prediligo per i miei disegni) non permette una figura intera. Infine, la posa è davvero graziosa.
