Here’s the latest Honest Government Ad you’ve helped us to produce.

It’s a couple of days later than what I’d planned, due to my head accident (thanks for everyone’s concerns, I’m much better now) – but I hope you like how it’s turned out.

This one’s part of our Climate Shitfuckery series in which we’re picking off each one of our government’s (and many governments’) strategies to avoid serious action on the climate crisis. We started off with the Kyoto Carryover Credits; then it’s EV policy (FFS); then the infiltration of our science agencies (CSIRO/BoM).

And in this HGA we look at one of the key pillars in our Government’s “Technology Investment Roadmap” to reach Net Zero emissions: Carbon Capture and Storage.

I plan to cover others, eg. “Clean Hydrogen” as we head towards the election. It’s my hope that this series of HGAs will help to improve public literacy around climate and energy policy, so that more people will be better equipped to recognize bullshit solutions to the climate crisis when they spot them in the wild - not just here in Australia, but elsewhere too.
