Dear Patrons,

Here's my response to George Brandis in the Senate last week (see link below in case you missed it). I felt I had to take it up a notch or five to make sure the message got back to him nice and clear.

BTW: in case you thought I'm only doing this for shits and giggles.... sure, I am. But it's also a genuinely worrying sign of our political climate that Government can encroach on so many civil liberties - even satire. Which is why I am pushing back and making noise about it.

Some folks are asking me if I'm scared about the Government coming after me. I'm taking reasonable precautions. But I'm actually more concerned that peeps seem to be scared of the Government, when the Government should be scared of the peeps.

Thank you for giving me the solidarity and funding to make sure I can use this platform, not just to inform people about critical issues; but also to fight back against lulzless fascists :)
