Over the past few months a number of people have expressed their deep concern about the existential risk of AI, to the point that it's affecting their mental health. So I wanted to look into this.

I was fortunate to have help from AI experts to guide me on this one. And after they explained the situation, I realised AI does indeed pose serious risks to humanity - just not the ones being peddled by Big Tech hype-merchants and amplified by sensationalist media headlines.

I hope this HGA helps to relieve people of unnecessary anxiety about future AI, and helps to refocus attention towards the present-day concerns of this powerful technology, which, if used well, could benefit humanity greatly. Not to mention other crisis that do face humanity - cough - climate change

In other news: I am about to board a plane to Italy in a few hours. Sadly, my father was hospitalised last week and it's not looking good. I am hoping I'll make it there in time. (I am really not having a good year with my parents health. As you know, I lost Mum back in March)

Because of this, I didn't have time to share with you the preview of this HGA, apologies - it's been a rough past few days tbh. I might not have time to publish the HGA to our other pages before I get on a plane, either. But I at least wanted to make sure I got it up on YouTube before leaving, and to share it with all of you here.
