I watched the episode and you were the first person I wanted to watch the reaction..please GMM no more Christmas music in the background drives me crazy..this was such a good finale..everyone ending on a high but the uncle lol. I knew Palm would take over his mom place didn’t think the bank would take the hostel. Nueng could make that a part of their hotel chain and get it from bank. Going to miss them a lot because it was a story and growth and love. Well onto the next one

I really liked this series, but the last couple of episodes fell a little flat for me. I do agree that ep. 12 is hands down better than ep. 11, but I lost some of the excitement and sheer joy that I had before ep. 11. Even after they got back together, it still didn't feel the same to me. I did enjoy the series, but its ending didn't have the impact on me that MSP did. That may be a good thing though because I am still dealing with that show ending! Still tears!!! I do know that they are two separate shows, but excellence should be contagious within the same company. I'm still very happy overall with GMMTV right now. MSP and The Warp Effect were really good. I'm also a huge Moonlight Chicken fan. Now I'm looking forward to all the great shows that were in the 2023 preview line up! Just my opinion!!

This was a GREAT ending and a GREAT series….period IMHO. Will really miss PondPhuwin. BTW, BEST THUMBNAIL EVER👍.

Claudia

I honestly was scared that their our skyy ep would be like flashbacks from them on the island or like set in heaven lmao. imagine 💀

Charlotte garcia

Yes, I was wondering if anyone else noticed the Christmas music playing I was like please no more Christmas music🤣🤣🤣

I’d rather see Pi and Mork in Our Skyy 2. I don’t have many (any) questions about the future of Palm and Nueng really, as they seem to be preparing to get into a rut. Pi and Mork however… what’s happened to those two goofballs?!?! And their brothers?!?! Maybe we could have Pi and Mork book into the hostel (after Nueng has gotten it back from the bank) and we can have a bunch of silly mixups about who is who, like Pi making out with Palm, and Nueng and Mork …and you get the picture. Meanwhile, Thuapu and Khanlong can end up at Thammasat U which Duean and Meen are also attending, and Khanlong and Duean can both wreak havoc while Thuapu and Meen try to sort their hothead boyfriends out… except that like before, there’s a mixup of who’s who, but because these two are both side couples, and after thinking it over, they both permanently switch boyfriends and no one minds because, like I said, they’re side couples! Getting back to Nueng though, his mom tries to crush competing hoteliers, which puts their family at odds with Win’s family from Between Us, Khabluen’s family from Star In My Mind, and Oh-aew’s family from I Told Sunset About You, and because two of those shows are the intellectual properties of other production companies, lawyers get involved, so it becomes a major courtroom drama too! Would anyone like to suggest another character from yet another studio to litigate that, just to add another layer of insanity? I mean, it needs to be that level of nuts if we want to interest Jojo Tichakorn Phukhaotong in directing it… just saying.

I totally agree on the fell flat sentiment. I already made my complaints about episode 11 in the comments for that one, and while I didn’t think this one was so much of a mess, it just felt to me like Jojo showed up for the filming here thinking, “okay, let’s wind this one down.” There was just no spark in this one. Comparing it to The Warp Effect, that one felt like everything was leading up to that ending, so many loose threads were successfully tied up… and then there is My School President. That series is not perfect, but it’s the closest thing to a masterpiece I’ve seen since I Told Sunset About You, and yup, its finale was just jumping, firing on all cylinders to the very end, jam packed with great dialogue, interactions, music, and set pieces, like it was for the whole series. Those guys weren’t shooting on the last day thinking “I just wanna go home”, that would have been one of those sets where after “cut” was called for the last time, everyone would have been thinking “we gotta keep this going, we just want more.” In Never Let Me Go on the other hand, Palm’s dad didn’t even pop in for one scene, which I’m saying is emblematic of the general laziness wrapping this one up.

Tita Josie I loved your reaction! It had me rolling 🤣 😂 . Your thoughts were the same as mine. The last couple of episodes I kind of lost my excitement at which point I started noticing all the little inconsistencies that didn't make sense like how it seemed like Palm was still at hotel looking for Nueng but apparently Kits men had time to kidnap him, drag him some place and send kidnapping pics in that short span of time or Nueng dealing with Palms shooting but having to take the time to comfort Chopper instead. Oh well I love Pond and Phuwin and they ended up together so it's a win.😍 I'll look forward to Our Skyy 2. The series of Perth and Chimon is Dangerous romance I believe. Hidden Agenda I think is Joong and Dunk.

The last two episodes were not so great and I am afraid it will have an impact on the overall ratings for this series and it is a pity. Tita Josie, I can tell you why Nueng was in a suit - it is because he flew to the island in his private jet )). For me, Palm was saying all sorts of wrong, inexplicable and silly things which at the end made me wonder why Nueng is so hung up on him, but the script is a script.). But the number of times they said to each other “I want you to live your life”, omg..🙄 Also, not sure if naming a bar after me would actually make me happy but I am happy for Nueng if he likes it. Funny to see how unphased Chopper was after his dad went to prison and then how quickly he has happily gone to England. And how quickly Ben forgot his love for Nueng. Ben is going with the flow )). The scene when Nueng was kissing the tatoo on Palm’s back - I couldn’t stop laughing because I saw in the Behind The Scenes that to make that tatoo they simply put a sticker with the ink on Pond’s back so Phuwin was actually kissing that sticker (tough life of actors)). I also saw Pond in the Dirty Laundry and I found that he is better in the comical roles than in dramatic/tragic ones. Sometimes I have impression that he is just saying his lines instead of actually acting them and it suits the comedy better. Last but not least, I found Chimon and Perth a very interesting pairing. Perth was good as a tortured son, and Chimon is a good actor, so I look forward to watch the Dangerous Romance with them next.

I trully love yours reactions! You had me rolling with: «Did you gave him a sponge bath?»🤣🤣🤣

Cindy Bowser

The only two times it was used was when Neungdiao left and when Palm was contemplating leaving.

@Nathan Van -its like you are reading my mind! everything you wrote was what I was gonne write except naming a Bar(Bar/boat/park/stadium just name it after me!)... I already wrote in one of my comments that Pond and even more Phuwin are better in comedy, and I wished after the cheesy lines they will start laughing at their lines smirk or make it a comedy but it never happened😒🤪 It started so well IMO and than got OKish and the acting lost the enthusiastic it started with. Maybe (prob?) because of the script you mentioned... I gave the series 8.5 and in the last 2 ep lowered it to 8 😟

If the competing families end up killing each other, we can invite Dr Bun from the Manner of Death to do the autopsy, he is that good )). Re: Jojo, not sure, he seemed tired at the end of NLMG, he should rest and rechange. In the meantime may I suggest Joei Apichatpong Weerasethakul for director? People say he is not bad )).

Craig White

It would be pretty wild seeing what he would do with a GMMTV show!!

Nathan

How wild it would be if he took Phuwin and made him play 23 distinct personalities like in “Split” by director Night Shyamalan (played by James McAvoy). I totally see Phuwin playing a crazy person in a thriller.

TitaJosie

Yeah it's a bit of a shame that Jojo did so well with Warp Effect but fell a bit flat here with NLMG. I still liked the series though. 💖

TitaJosie

Kinn's family in KinnPorsche also had hotels, I believe lol. I'd be completely here for that BL mayhem! 😝😁

TitaJosie

There were a lot of weird moments in the finale, lol, but all's well that ends well! Lol. 😝😁🥰

TitaJosie

I'm surprised they missed the opportunity to show Nueng giving Palm a sponge bath. 👀😅😝

Cindy Bowser

I guess I watched a different Never Let Me Go than you guys did. I love this series and PondPhuwin and I think it’s interesting how it obviously must have something to generate so many (mostly negative) comments.

TitaJosie

Overall I liked it too. It's just that compared to Jojo's other series (Warped Effect, 3 Will Be Free) it seems this one got left behind. I still loved the characters though. 💖

Yay happy ending 😍😍😍 I still wish Palms mother got a happy ending 😁
