I honestly regret not reacting to this series. It's the first non-BL series by GMMTV that I've loved since 3 Will Be Free. If you haven't watched it, please do. 💖

I'll be honest but personally I didn't watch it out of rebellion and the fact that GMMTV has released so much shit since 3 will be free that I said: "nope, no way wasting my time" ! do I regret, somewhere yes because after Tito Nola and Tito Jericho, you are the 3rd person whose opinion I respect to say good things about it! so I know what I'm going to do this weekend

I really enjoyed this series. At first everything was very "wild and confused". The individual characters are very lovingly portrayed. Everyone has their weaknesses, strengths and preferences. It shows how an action by an individual and with the people he acts with can have far-reaching consequences for everyone... All problems are addressed... First sex, problems and consequences if you don't accept the "no" of the other...fear of commitment...acting out role-playing games...not corresponding to the ideal weight..... As I said very entertaining but you can also take a lot of wisdom with you....

This series was so good. And it is something I don't like about reactors who privilege BL-only series, they miss so much good things to react. As a result you have seen it but we are going to be deprived of your insight... and that sh*tty. I mean I love your reaction and insight but there is so much more than just BL... Just like the Midnight series. Midnight Motel was wonderful: dark and cynical. Dirty Laundry was wonderful: hilarious and silly. But they were not BL... result ? They were discarded from reactors only to focus on Moonlight Chicken. Moonlight Chicken, I do find it good but overly dramatic. HeartMing annoyed me so far, cute story full of unbelievable drama (parent who never learn sign language, this is so unrealistic just to make people cry over the actors, I know deaf and mute peoples, all the parents were there to support their children. Only in a thai series I've seen that kind of demeanor.), Gaipa and Alan are the characters that do have so far the most depths I am just afraid they going to keep the ship intact just for the sake of the ship. You know what I mean ? Basically, people do not care about Jim and Wen real struggle as long Earth and Mix are still together... boy how I hate that. Sorry for my ranting... love you anyway

Aww, love you too, Cédric! I appreciate your honesty. 💖 Honestly, I don't generally watch anything that's non-BL, even in my own time. I already spend a lot of time filming, editing, and managing Patreon/YouTube that I prefer to spend any other time I have on other things offline. I really only started watching The Warp Effect after ep. 6 or 7 had aired, I think, and even then I was only half-hearted about it because the non-BLs that GMMTV releases have generally been forgettable for me. Even the ones you mentioned like Dirty Laundry, I honestly didn't enjoy it and only finished it because I love Nanon and Pond. As to why I focus on BLs for reactions, it's more because of why I started my channel with Miles in the beginning. I wanted to focus on LGBTQ+ stories because there are already a lot of other people focusing on the other stuff. I don't think that will ever change for me, though I have considered it at some point. BL is a nice niche for reactions for me because the audience is generally nice. I've tried non-BL reactions on YouTube for example, and honestly the people who comment tend to be not-nice. Even for non-BL LGBTQ+ series like Young Royals and Heartstopper, I've had to delete a lot of comments and block people on YouTube because people were nasty. I'm at the age where honestly I don't have the patience or interest to deal with any of that. So BLs it is, because at the people who watch them and comment on the videos tend to be nice, at least on my channel. 💖 Sorry for the long response too. I understand your frustration, but I also wanted to share my side on why I do the things I do. Hugs to you! 🤗

I started watching this but couldn't get into it I got so confused at the beginning as the story kept going back and forwards so didn't carry on with it.

Don't worry, I do understand. Even I, given the choice, I would choose a BL. I don't get that some people wrote bad comment about Heartstopper... I fell in love with Charlie almost immediately. Also it is true that BL is a very specific niche, people tend effectively to be more emotional and loving of the characters.

I am happy you watched the Warp, I loved this show, it had BL/GL/Hetro/Trans stories mixed with so many young adults problems/dilemmas/questions/wrong decisions/ SA/choices we make in life/safe sex/kink/ pregnancy what the freaking hell did I forget? so mannyyyy subjects... it could have been a disaster BUT no! they managed to wrap it all in one great series. They kept everything very light (yes, even the sad parts I could feel it but it wasn't heart breaking tears falling tissue please moments)and IMO it was great, I was happy for it, sometimes a message can get to the audience better in a light way. I laughed a lot, loved the actors and I think the pairing was brilliant (well, almost... Phuwin is so much better with Pond, his acting wasn't to my liking here).

It's a nice series.... the top BL stars in a straight role. My favourite is the second couple ( the Doc and football trainer).... the beginning was a bit confusing though...

I watched this series when it first started. I loved it. New is fantastic,. I remember him from SOTUS. I also watch non BL series and all I have watched, about 8 so far, have our BL actors in key roles. Nanon was good in "Dirty Laundry" and Ohm (Bad Buddy) was absolutely fantastic in "Ten Years Effect."
