Disagree with what you said regarding wars in middle east being waged due to racism or being anti islam. Imo they're more down to "business" interests, making sure that the leaders in charge of those countries are people who will bow to them. I also think there may be an intention to intentionally displace people which leads to more multiculturalism.

I do think they feared Islam as it was the biggest threat ideologically to the capitalist ways. Anything that is a threat will be destroyed. Communism has started to rise again though.

Another good podcast Although i will say Im like 10 years younger than you And i went to school in essex (dagenham) and a uni in watford (i know not inner city areas but still) And i experienced alot of overt and aggressive (sometimes leading to physical) racism So maybe by comparison to what you experienced racism isnt as bad but dont let that make you believe it isnt still prevalent and having an affect on the way youngsters grow up But but but i am fully an advocate of the best thing being to fix yourself so i do agree with your stance on making ourselves better rather than finding an external scapegoat 💯
