Prairie Churches - 1 (Patreon)

St. Joseph - Hays, Kansas

I'm excited to present my first work of a new series. As promised, I will be depicting real-life churches in western Kansas. I decided to go with a skewed top-down view, which allows me to capture the complete structure with surprising detail.

This particular church has special significance to me, as I've attended several weddings and funerals there. I even helped carry my grandfather's casket through those doors.

At some point, I would like to pixel my whole town in this style, but for now I'll be making a nice collection of churches. The architecture translates to pixels so well!
