This episode is pretty forgettable in the grand scheme of things.

Not one of the better episodes for sure, but I do love the music in this one. Didn't realize until this episode how many Billy Joel songs I knew to be honest. Definitely preferred the New York parts to the McKinley bits. Becky is a funny character for sure (I wonder if she's been influenced by Sue at all? hahahaha - she is funny by herself though).

I really do love this episode but it's because I love when they give Becky a storyline.

To most people this is a forgettable and generic episode but for me it's an important one. I was being badly bullied all through high school and when season 2 was airing I found a small group of Samchel shippers on Twitter and they really supported me and gave me a reason to smile. So when this episode happened in season 5 it wss such a shock, in a good way. People called us delusional for so long and now we could go haha, we told you so. 😂 And finally having some concrete hope for Samchel made me SO happy which I really needed at the time. The ship grew massively from that point. There were a lot of people who hated it but more people who loved it. Samchel endgame trended number one worldwide every week on Twitter during seasons 5 and 6. Great times. Of course not telling you if anything more happens with them or not. But the shipping side of things was a lot of fun. So yeah, this episode just brings back great memories for me and it makes me smile. 😊 Also while I'm also not a massive Billy Joel fan either, I do like the performances. Especially Artie singing Honesty, he SMASHED that. 🔥

I rewatch this episode purely for Samchel and Slaine content! “Movin out”— boy do those boys sound amazing together! Saaang!! I love when we get to see the vulnerable side of Sue. Unpopular opinion: she’s my favorite character in the whole series. I’m a huge fan of character arcs and imo she has the best one. Loving your Glee reactions as always!!

I’ve always enjoyed Billy Joel, but liked him even more when he called Taylor Swift this generation’s Beatles 😍
