such a great ending. i don't think i have cried over a series finale like this in YEARS. this rlly became my comfort show. ricky and gina, miss jenn and mr m, ashlyn and maddox, etc. all ending up together made my heart so warm. the cast singing at the end was beautiful and the song they chose made me emotional. i hope we get some kind of a special/movie in a few years (possibly a miss jenn and mr.m wedding!) truly one of the few reboots to be done well.

All of the speeches had me in tears. And Ricky's song Love you forever was sooo sweet. What a great finale!

I'm SO glad I took the chance and sponsored this show for you. I wasn't sure if you'd like it with it being Disney but you love it just as much as I do and that makes me really happy. It's just so different to the usual stuff Disney put out. You pointed out all the diversity which is a MASSIVE step forward for Disney. But it's more than that. The way this show is written feels more mature than many Disney high school shows, it was made for those of us who grew up with the original movies who are now in our 20s and 30s, but they also had to make the show appeal to today's generation of kids. And I think they got that balance spot on. 👌 As for this finale, it is BRILLIANT!! I do wish that they'd ended the show on season 5 considering they have a whole semester of high school left, I didn't really understand the choice to end it here. And I am still a bit mad that Miss Jenn and Mr Mazzara didn't kiss lol. But overall I'm SO happy with this ending. I'm glad that they showed so much of the actual musical. I appreciated that a lot. Ashlyn and Maddox are adorable, their scene together in the corridor is one of my favourite scenes of the season. I'm glad that they at least teased Jet and Kourtney. Big Red and Antoine was a surprise, I agree that Antoine wasn't really needed but him actually saying that his terrible French accent was fake cracked me up lol. And them adding even more LGBT+ representation, even though it's the finale, didn't go unappreciated by me. Ricky and Gina are just EVERYTHING!! Ricky's song to Gina is maybe my favourite original song from the show. It's absolutely beautiful and makes me cry every time I hear it. And finding out that Gina wrote that she loved Ricky in the hat she gave him in season 1 gave me chills, it was always meant to be them. 😍 And I loved the last two songs in the credits. It was a sweet throwback to have everyone singing Born To Be Brave in the limo. And in season 1 Ricky asks Nini what happens after a show ends and she said that the theatre kids usually go to Denny's. So that's why they drove there. I loved that little connection. And the cast all singing For Good together at the end was a lovely touch, they really are all SO talented. The casting team did well for this show. I'm going to miss watching this with you so much. I've really enjoyed it. But the show runner Tim Federle has teased a potential spin off. He says he has ideas and he'll pitch them to Disney after the strikes are over. So maybe this isn't the end after all, fingers crossed. 🤞 But for now, thanks so much for reacting to this show. And I'm really glad you enjoyed it. 😊

I told myself that I wouldn't cry this time, but, as soon as Gina started to give her speech to everyone before the big press conference, I broke! (Believe me, the first time I watched this, I was a mess the whole time 🤣🤣😭😭) This show has so much heart to it and just gets you all up in your feelings! And yet, it can also be quite funny. I have issues, but for this finale, they're very miniscule. My main complaint is the fake French kid whose name is apparently Antoine. I'm pretty sure I had the same exact look (or, at least something similar 🤣🤣🤣) when he butted his way into this episode! It broke up a performance and it just didn't feel right. I feel like the only reason it was in there was to shoehorn in a love interest for Big Red. But that's my main complaint with this finale. Everything else was a bunch of chef's kisses! Also, High School Musical 4 clocking in at 5 hours is just barely shorter than the previous 3 High School Musical movies combined 🤣🤣🤣There's so much more I could say, but I'll leave it there
