I love this episode for Marjan. It was such a creative way to relay her backstory and also it was probably like a survivor mechanism. In this really dangerous situation, Marjan conjured a younger version of herself to not be alone. This episode really explained why Marjan is always strong in her beliefs and why she fiercely fights to protect the ones she loves.

Well, Grant didn't go slowly, but I bet it was a painful way to go! I mean, a flare right to the jugular! If it wasn't Grant, I might feel sorry for him, but it is him so fork him! Marjan literally saved herself! "Mouse" offering her moral support, just, why do you do this to us 911 LS showrunners/directors/writers?!? 😭😭😭They really do put Marjan through the ringer! TK, too, especially early on! They definitely left a lot of breadcrumbs about "Mouse's" identity throughout the episode. Much easier to spot on rewatch

When I watched this episode as it was airing I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I when through all the emotions at the end thinking the little girl was dead and then realizing she was a younger version of Marjan. I was just as riveted watching the episode again. There are definitely breadcrumbs you catch after watching it again. I also think that once it’s revealed it’s like oh duh the little girl looks like Marjan how did I miss that. I think everyone writers and actors did such a good job at making you realize something was up with mouse but not really questioning it until the end and being emotionally gut punched by the reveal. I think it perfectly explained why Marjan is so strong in her beliefs and faith. Also kudos to Natacha(Marjan) for some amazing acting in this episode. She was brilliant. Also side note why is Carlos in glasses the best thing ever?

First time I watched this, I didn't realize Mouse was Marjan until Owen said that there was no girl there! Then, I was like duh! Fantastic acting for sure. For Carlos, some people just look good no matter what
