Yeah, that's my main issue with this season, only 8 episodes (apparently season 4 will also be 8 episodes), so it feels a little rushed. It would be different if the episodes were 40-60 minutes long, but oh well, it's still a fun time! Now, your face when you saw Ashlyn discovering her feelings for Val 🤣🤣🤣Also, I wish it were that easy to learn, well, anything Gina, but I can forgive that since this is a silly show 😉

Well the season 3 finale is 45 minutes to be fair. And I actually think they did a great job fitting so much in 8 episodes, each one moves the story along well. Inevitably a bit rushed at times yes, but I've seen shows with short seasons pace things WAY worse than this show does. But I do hope all the episodes in the final season are long. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞

i agree, i do wish we had 10 eps like s1 but i do think they did a lot better than other shows in pacing for 8 eps. im hoping that s4 will at least have the longest finale of the show, though i would love for all the eps to be around 40 minutes.

I mean, that was one episode, though. Pacing is pretty good, but not great. Yeah, if season 4 episodes are around 40 minutes (and I mean actually 40 minutes, not 40 minutes including credits 🤣🤣🤣), that would be ideal, but Disney seems to shy away from runtimes that long for shows like this. We'll see if they buck their current trends when it comes out (all in one day 🎉)

if it helps, a reviewer who has seen 6 eps from s4 described the eps as the perfect length! it may not mean they are longer but this does imply that they are paced well

I think the pacing for this show is great tbh. I don’t feel like there is too much filler and I love that ! But I also watch 35 episodes of shows a week so some shorter ones are welcomed 😂😂😂

Turd fergusons might be my new favourite insult lol. 😂 I really love this episode, another great one. The song between Corbin and Gina is my joint favourite original song of the season along with Ashlyn's song Rising. Corbin's definitely still got it and that song is so much fun, I downloaded it straight away. 🔥 I think the symbolism in this episode is very clever. The fireworks didn't go off for Gina and EJ which symbolises their spark going out. But they did go off for Ashlyn which symbolises her finally understanding her feelings. EJ is just being annoying this season for me, I understand that he's under a lot of pressure but that's no excuse for neglecting Gina. And even if they couldn't go to prom together, he could've at least said they'd dance together all night or something. If I was her I'd be upset tbh. Whereas Ricky is basically the opposite of EJ this season. Ricky's having fun and being kind and he's even helping Gina with her relationship with EJ despite it hurting him. Season 1/2 Ricky would've tried to sabotage them or something lol but this proves that without the Nini drama and his home drama dragging him down, Ricky's actually an amazing and selfless person. Gina needs that, just saying. 😂 Ashlyn realizing she's bi is such a beautiful moment. And I love that they have her realize her feelings with Val who's straight, so she's not cheating on Big Red or anything, she's just discovering this new part of herself. And that's so realistic of many bisexuals, me included. What they do with Ashlyn is maybe the most realistic portrayal of bisexuality that I've ever seen on screen. Praying that they don't mess it up in season 4. 🤞 It was great to see Miss Jenn again, she's so funny and always gives the best advice. Although I agree the mummy thing was a bit creepy lol. But I can look past that because she's so wonderful. And they did such a brilliant job with the Camp Rock 2 song. I know you didn't know it because you haven't seen those movies, but they got it spot on. I can't wait for the next episode, I have like 5 moments in my head already that I can't wait to see your reaction to. 😊
