Yasss Eric! Do your thing! Otis, Otis, Otis. I swear you put both your feet in your mouth with Ola (also, Travis saying, "Olly, Yolly, Olli" 🤣🤣🤣). Lily just casually asking another guy to have sex with her 🤣🤣🤣. Yup, Travis, Lizzie is young Queen Charlotte (that's the second Bridgerton universe actor we've seen so far, unless I missed one, which is entirely possible). Jean, you lying to yourself about how you feel about Jakob! And how can you do that to Otis! Is it any wonder this kid has issues?!?

This episode is intense but great, it really moves along several storylines. Otis is a good person with such a kind heart. He just says and does the wrong things when he's nervous or scared and I'm very much the same. So I know he doesn't mean what he said to Ola in a bad way. And the way he helped that kid was amazing, what beautiful words. And I love how he has no issues dancing with Eric in front of the whole school. As for Eric, I love him too. He's such a gem and his smile is everything. It's been amazing in this show to see how his dad accepts him. He doesn't really understand Eric but he tries SO hard and he's kind and he shows how much he cares for him. And that's all you could ask for. But I have the same concerns as you about Eric being in church, I won't go into details because I know you don't want those sort of conversations here, but I have a very negative view of churches and of religion in general due to my own personal experiences surrounding sexuality. So I worry for Eric. And yes, Maeve definitely loves Otis and not Jackson. And honestly I think she should've dumped Jackson the second he didn't call her beautiful when she walked out in her prom dress. But even after that he spent the whole night drinking and messing up the dance for her when she was already reluctant to go in the first place. I do feel sorry for him with what's going on at home, but I always say that having a bad home life doesn't mean you treat other people like crap. Break the cyle or stay living in it. As for Jean, I feel like she only said no to Jakob because she's scared. Sleeping with loads of random men is safe for her because when there's no commitment she can't get hurt again. I hope she finds a way to be brave enough to go for it with a guy long term. But her writing about Otis' sex struggles is completely inappropriate, seriously if my mum did that I'd never talk to her again. But what I really love about this show is how well they break up serious moments with humour. Some moments on this show I do have to skip past but most of it I can watch which is unusal for drama shows like this. So I appreciate how this show is made. 😊

I think it’s interesting what a big contrast there is in Otis in this ep… absolutely useless at expressing his own feelings to Ola, but really good at articulating feelings when talking to the boy on the stage about Lizzie 😊

I don't know if you even noticed it, but in the scene before we first see Eric (where he's in his boring green "civilian" clothing) you were smiling at the funny/cute scene. Then we see Eric and your smile turned into such a sad look. Then later when it cut to Eric back to his usual self your face lit up!! I point it out because I'm pretty sure mine did the same thing. Ncuti Gatwa who plays Eric has landed a couple of high profile roles recently, so I've seen him a lot in the press. I also follow him on insta, and I have to say his dress sense, and sense of style is AMAZING!!! He's like Scotland's own Billy Porter when it comes to red carpet runways.
