honestly i forgot about the specials in between season 4 and 5 I can't wait to watch them for the first time!

also I loved how they explained the actress for Gwen cooper who was a character in the beginning season of Doctor who way back with the 9th doctor and Rose in the first or second season... They explained it as a loong past ancestor which i always thought was cool!

Nope, didn't make it though without crying again. The power of this series to change my mind. I wasn't a big fan of Donna when she was introduced in the Christmas Special. Then when they brought her back, I was quite sure it was going to be a mistake honestly. I'd always liked Catherine, but thought her comedic style wouldn't serve the drama, having never seen her in anything dramatic before. By the end of episode 2 was being forced to bite chucks out of my own hat, whilst also dinning on large bowl of alphabetti spaghetti riddled with my own stupid opinions. She then stayed my favourite companion until years later when another became joint top billing, as I couldn't choose between them. (For those wondering if I meant that awful and obvious punage, yes, yes I fully did.) 😉

'The most ambitious crossover event in history' - yeah, Doctor Who, Series 4 finale ;) Also did the whole 'multiverse is in danger' thing before MCU, just sayin'. Also, the shared universe - Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane shows - before MCU. RTD is the man.
