2023-06-25 19:09:07 Did you ever noticed the "ding" of the elevators? It started a few seasons ago, whenever someone say something funny, or has an idea you hear the sound of the elevator dingin. It's so funny when you start to notice it. And they still do it on season 19.

Like in this episode when Lexie say Mark broke a bone, Callie makes a face and there goes the ding of the elevator. It's so funny and it happens all the time

Love love love the ep and your reaction! I love the Bailey and Derek scene so much! It is such an underrated rated moment of their friendship because he didn't stop for Meredith and I don't think he would have stopped for anyone, even Richard, but he stopped for Bailey because he had full faith in her morality that she wouldn't let him kill that guy.

Right there with ya, Trav. 😭

Now that I’m all caught up I am getting so excited every time a new Greys is posted! Since there are so many episodes I’ve been writing notes down of what happens in each of them as we watch so I can later go back and find episodes where something particular happened if I’m in the mood for that episode or storyline haha 😆

Sacid Ve

how am i crying with this after having seen it like 30 times already? stupid show, i love it

Emma Mellin

i dont think there’d be any complaints if you watched back to back to back to back 🤪

Noelle

I am crying and I don't know why. I knew the boy would live, I knew Meredith would go to watch his execution, but I am still bawling my eyes out. Also, this might be one of the few Ghost-Denny episodes I really like. I guess the seggsy time was just too much to "watch"/show tbh which is why I don't really like the storyline that much.

Charissa Kay

You tell em! Also, you are going to be watching back to back until who knows what year lmaooo. I probably binge a chunk of it once a year ish, but I'm really enjoying watching new reactions right now. I'm pretty sure Eric Stoltz (producer, director, who played William) wrote this episode? Or at least directed all of them. Hit it out of the park even by Grey's standards imo! Love it! Love this! ❣️💗❣️

season 5 was truly peak grey’s anatomy! every storyline this episode hits - from the hilarity and sweetness of slexie to izzie’s realisation to bailey losing her shit to meredith’s compassion for the serial killer and everything derek did this episode I applauded. Derek knowing exactly how and why Christina is important to Meredith and what she needs, him letting Bailey make the choice betting on her morality winning over her desperation just wow. I felt so bad for everyone this episode - this one hit all the right notes 👏

thisismaria27

I think they did a good job tricking the audience that way. Because at first you think she just has a hard time letting him go, then you think it’s a weird ghost story so that it comes as a shock to you when Izzie realises why she sees and feels Denny. If it had been shorter, you may have made that connection sooner.

thisismaria27

THIS!! He believed her morality as a doctor and human being would win out even under those circumstances.

Katie Kat

That damn ghost better not come back please no

Mo

Damn I forgot about this storyline. Its been so long since I rewatched. I basically cried this entire episode. The beauty of Grey's is that you never want to stop watching!

Nettie

I was so excited when I saw this reaction up 👍but also 😭

Nessie- Je lis, et alors

Hi Travis ! Really loved your reaction ! The end still makes me cry after I don't know how many times I watched it ! The broken bone of Mark was sooooo funny to watch though ;)

Elizabeth Williams

No matter how many times I’ve watched this episode, it still gets me every time. So powerful

Helen Moore

maybe that's what we should do, get everyone to sponsor one show for a whole week.

Christin Schumacher

I’ve seen this episode like 10 times and yet I’m sitting here in the airport crying like a baby

Laura Shepherd

I binged like the first 6 seasons of this show so hard 😅 It's impossible to stop watching these early seasons, they're so good!

Lina Distadio

I might be misunderstanding the comment, but while Eric Stoltz is an amazing director and may have done this ep, he def hasn't directed all of them. The series has had 92 episode directors in total so far. Unless you meant he directed all of the actors in which case, don't mind me, it's 5:20am and I haven't slept in a couple of days. My reading ain't great at the moment ngl.

Charissa Kay

"I'm pretty (meaning not 100%) sure, Eric Stoltz wrote this episode? (note q mark). Or at least directed all of them (meaning the ones he was in). Does that make more sense?

Breadcrumbs

on a lighter note--I don't know if anyone has mentioned this as I didn't read through all the comments--there is a deleted scene where they have Derek consult on Mark's "injury", and basically all he can do is laugh just as loudly as you did lol. It's one of my favorite deleted scenes; it feels more like a blooper because the laugh is pure Patrick Dempsey.

Michaela Evans

I didn't start crying until the very end! That was brutal.

prinprin

I watched it live, and still I can never not cry at this episode. It just pulls on everything all at once and never leaves your brain, even after all this time.

Lucile Byrd

Im sorry, but Meredith is the one in the wrong in this fight, and Meredith refuses to apologize, so how the hell is Yang being stubborn and not Meredith?
