I love when Neal is telling Elizabeth about his favorite piece of art at the gallery where she'll be hosting an event, and how that artwork is "on the second floor... right near the FIRE EXIT." It's said like a throwaway line, but it's one of my favorites because it shows Neal's mind / thought process about how best to steal stuff. Plus the look on Matt Bomer's face when he says it is so funny. The constant mention of how Peter's car works cracks me up. "Watch out - blind spot! ... I want to see the map thing." It's clearly a promotional sponsor, so they're forced to work it into episodes here and there. If you get a chance to react to the season 1 gag reel, there's a particularly funny moment when Matt Bomer mocks that specific facet of their show. I love their self awareness.

2023-06-09 23:25:50 I like this episode - it seems like it would be boring (mortgage fraud) but all the character interactions are so interesting and funny and smart. Elizabeth becoming friends with Mozzie (heeehee), the whole courier heist (Mozzie takes such delight in planning these things - I love him using the board game to plan it out), the judge trying bribe Peter, Fowler the jerk showing up, Peter knowing that Neal's lying about having the music box, Peter's boss coming to him on the down low to warn him that he's in danger, the FBI team coming in to help Peter when they hear he's in trouble <3 It's all so much fun. I really do love this show a lot.
