I don't see it as Haley ditching Lucas because where has Lucas been the past few episodes? Either with Peyton or Brooke. He didn't put in effort to hang out with her so why should she. I typically like their friendship, but I found Lucas quite annoying this episode lol. Don't even get me started on the "you look ridiculous" line.

Also Haley hasn’t ditched him once except when she rode with Nathan in the car instead of Lucas on the bus and even then she asked him if it’s okay. I get why Lucas is not psyched about her dating Nathan of all people but she is also right when she says it would be easier if both brothers got along.

2023-06-10 07:47:18 Nathan didn't treat Lucas like shit for 10 years. (That was Dan.) He just ignored him. It wasn't until he was about to join the team. So like 2 months, which she got him to stop doing. It's not a matter of you working through it because I'm not talking about future stuff or who they are then. We have a differing reaction to what's going on now. I'm not a Nathan stan, just not a Lucas fan atm. That started several epis ago. I just don't like how he treated Brooke.

Yeah I mean ... I'm never going to support a 16 year old getting her boyfriends jersey number above her buttcrack. And if one of my friends, that I treated like a sister, did it when I was 1 - who was also my brother that I don't get along with that comes from a family that treated my mother and I like shit for years - I'd definitely let my disapproval be known.

Yeah, who cares what she's feeling or what she's going through. It's all about Lucas and who she should be for him. She should just break up with Nathan (because his feelings or what Dan did to him don't matter either ) since Lucas doesn't approve.

I've always been much more sympathetic toward Lucas in these little friendship rifts between him and Haley over Nathan. Largely I think because of her extraness 😂 Even though I like her and Nathan she dove in way too much too fast with him and needed to pump the brakes 😂
