you are getting very perceptive when it comes to this show :) I actually kinda like inquisitor Herondale :) But yup welcome to one of the other fun twists of the show. Jace's identity Jace Herondale was raised by Valentine who pretended to be Michael Wayland (while raising Jace) and then sent him to the Lightwoods. Lied to him and told him he was a Morgernstern only to find out he was not actually because he had angel blood, not demon blood. Poor Jace.
