I agree, it's definitely middle-of-the-pack MCU for me too. Action is interesting, but not great. What I did like is how they solved the problem. Most MCU climaxes finish in the same way: big, marvelous (see what I did there, lol) action set pieces that end in a spectacular fashion. This movie chose to go a different way. It chose to outsmart the big bad instead of beating him into submission. That's my favorite part of this movie. You're completely right about Doctor Strange being a complete asshole. I look at him as a less charming, less likeable version of Tony Stark. They're both genius, devil may care cavaliers who do things their own way. But people give Tony more leeway because he's more likeable. Having said that, I do think that Doctor Strange is more of an asshole at the beginning of their respective journeys. Guardians Volume 2 is next, then Spiderman Homecoming (not on Disney + as Spiderman is owned by Sony), Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War (no spoilers guys and gals!), Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers Endgame (again, no spoilers ladies and gents!), and Spiderman Far From Home (also not on Disney +) closes out Phase 3. We'll see you in the next one Travis!

So I really enjoy this one but probably because it is less MCU and more comedic (and especially Benny Cumberbatch dry British wit)

"I pity the fool" lol. Sorry, had to do it. I probably won't request another MCU movie until May or June because there are some shows I want to request, but you never know, I might decide to request Guardians 2 (or Spiderman Homecoming if someone else requests Guardians 2) earlier. I've always been pretty haphazard with these requests anyway
