My first thought when I realized what episode this is. “Ohhh nooooo 🤣”

Lmaoo I have so many black mirror favorites and this is one of my weirder ones cause it's like whyyyy it makes me question everything but idk I just think it's so wild and off the charts nothing like something I would have expected them to release in comparison to the others in my opinion and whenever I choose things I'm always like "ooh man I freaked out on this one I wanna see other people's faces when they see it" that's like my whole process

Yeah this one's a bit of a head scratcher! On my first watch I remember wanting to understand better what their relationship was and what all that really meant, but having seen it a couple more times now I think I appreciate that it really doesn't define it for us and instead just kind of shows -in a very unique way- that sexuality can be tricky! I did read something that talked about the idea of nostalgia playing a part in this one- like neither man is particularly happy with their current lives (can really see how seemingly bored Danny is when it jumps to 11 years later) and playing that game with each other takes them back to a more fun time in their lives and so actually getting to be those different characters in the context of that game is what's drawing them. I dunno. Seems complex but I like that they seem to have worked out an arrangement that works for everyone! Did feel bad for Theo most of the episode. This is another one of the few happier black mirror episodes 😋 Also everyone in it is pretty damn hot!

Cheating isn't any specific act. Cheating is anything you do that breaks the trust of your partner. That line can be different for every couple. If you would say, "My partner wouldn't trust me if they found out about this." Then it's cheating. ;)

I mean not necessarily... lol your comment just reminded me of a friend who found out her husband had been lying about a drug addiction she never knew about. He wasn't cheating on her with pills he was lying to her about it. It would be rediculous to say her spouse cheated on her and then to ask her about the other woman (or man) the response is oxy...? That just sounds crazy. She lost her trust in him for years until he proved he wasn't lying to her about his past habit. She would never be able to call him a cheater for that. Just a liar when he was using and hiding it.

I'm sorry. I thought it was implied that we were talking about personal relationships, not trust issues in the general sense. 🤷

Not sure how I feel about this episode, but that is 100% cheating to me

I felt like the friend that chose the female character may have been dealing with some body dysmorphia?
