This episode is a sad one but great too. I feel so awful for Gina, being told she has to move again. And I think this is the moment that Ricky really realized his feelings for her, even if he didn't know it. I also love the connection between Miss Jenn and Mr Mazarra in this episode, it came out of nowhere but it's cute. 😊 As for the camera shaking, you're right that it sucks but what you've heard is true. It does get a lot less as the seasons go on. Even in this episode there are moments where the camera is still like during the song at the end and during a couple of other moments too. So it's already improving. And by season 3 the camera movement is MUCH less than in season 1, it doesn't go away completely because they unfortunately wanted to keep the documentary style, but it's way more still than these early episodes. They got quite a lot of complaints about the camera movement in season 1. 😂

This series is definitely growing on me. I like the acting and the singing better than Glee (this show actually shines a light on a lot of the problems that Glee has), which I never expected to say. Still not a fan of the drama aspect of the show, but I do have to say that they do it well and believably. Really sad about Gina. Her case is like an extreme example of what I went through growing up. She's moving pretty much every year, maybe even multiple times in a year and it's really hard to make friends with a lifestyle like that while growing up. I've only lived in a few states, but my family moved around a lot in those 4 states. Just in Maryland, I've lived in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Frederick, La Plata, Waldorf, Salisbury, and Silver Spring, so I get what she's going through (albeit, nowhere near as bad as what she's going through). I wish I was in theater when I was in high school. It seems like a lot of fun. My parents wouldn't let me join because I was already in regular band, marching band, jazz band (I was terrible at jazz, lol), and symphony orchestra, so that (as well as studying and church) took up all my time

Haha I know what you mean. It's irritating. But even by the season 1 finale it's toned down a lot so it's ok. I've watched shows that have camera shaking a lot worse than this one. 😂

I'm not so bothered by it, honestly (I'm used to it from the Bourne movies where it's way worse, but the movies are so good, well, at least the first 3 are, lol). The reason I didn't like it here is because it made no sense to have shaky cam here. All they were doing was talking, lol

Yeah that's very true lol. But the whole show is done in like a documentary style so I guess that's why it's shaky all the time. But I get what you mean.
