I’m always confused ab Magnus’s age. xD He always mentions he is ‚few hundrets years old’, google sais it’s 400, but roght after that it sais ‚in that book Magnus said he is almost 800’, and he knew Michalangelo (500 years ago) so who knows xD But who counts up to 17k people? xD Idk if this was from the books…? Considering he was with Camille a few decades at least, and he was single for over a century, let’s say he had 300 years for the other 17k… that’s really a lot, even if he’s counting every orgy and one night stand xd I love Magnus and Alec, love how their story is writen and their conflicts are belivable and emotional. But the number 17k? Why did they wrot it into a script 😂 He could have just said, idk he had 20, or 17 long-ish time partners, and a lot of one-night-stands, but he can’t count them xD

Oh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Iron Sisters. They are so badass. The way they shape Adamas (angelic metal basically) into the weapons that shadowhunters use. They have special runes that only they can use. They live in the Adamant Citadel. So if her runes/Tattoos are dark it means they have been freshly applied. Because they fade after use. They have to be reapplied. In the book, it explains it quite well, when it talks about Clary's mother being covered in very thin faded white marks. Because over and over they apply these runes. But these faded white marks are almost not noticeable unless you look really closely. So throughout the show, you will see the runes at different stages of bold to faded. Yes, yinfen is addictive, as we see later in the show Izzy finds out it is basically just vampire venom. It is basically just a numbing cream with addictive properties. And Aldertree totally knows and is using it to control her. Maia, nosy nancy is a total hottie though. Memory foam definitely developed by NASA. If he isn't a drinker I would start him on a cider, but that is just me. "She is very fair" this makes me think about how much trouble it is for actors/actresses who have fair skin to keep their skin that fair. My best friend had this problem. I hate Malec fights. This season it becomes so noticeable for me how much I am like Alec and I think that for me is why I have a hard time with his character on the show because some of his worst traits and mine are so super noticeable. "He looks like my puppy" LOL Important to note, that the sword that was stolen needs a bolt of lighting and angelic energy to be activated (so that is can kill downworlders) and Valentine knows this. "oop now he is over you." Maia looks so hurt but it is so obvious Simon only has eyes for Clary. Yeah Cleophas (Luke's sister) was a Circle Member just like Luke. This was a big episode with lots of information! And the next couple episodes don't get any less exciting!!

From reading the books ...at least 3 times...lol...Magnus is 800 years old...and Ms Lisa Berry (Cleophas) is freaking Gorgeous!!!!!

Taking into account Magnus' age, which, for argument sake is 500, seeing that he knew Michelangelo, 17000 is not that many. Hodge mentioned in Season 1 that even by Warlock standards, Magnus was considered hedonistic. We know he was involved in a long term relationship with Camille so there might have been others. So, doing the math and assuming in his wild times there were many, Magnus, on average only had 0.6 person per week. It's all relative. What is a more disturbing question for me, is how did a guy that looks like Alec, remain unattach all his life? Are Shadowhunters blind or do they just not have game? 😎

it probably had something to do with their parents as well... they seem like the type to keep relationships away from their kids unless its what they want to help better themselves.. which is probably why later izzy has her downworlder relationships which were hinted at in season 1 with the seelies... of a more intimate relation...
