I grew up only hearing Bring Me To Life and My Immortal, but I think I like Hello a little more than the others; mainly because of the line “Don’t try to fix me, I’m not Broken”.

And I think i heard somewhere that Bring Me To Life was used in the DareDevil movie, which made it a commercial success.

omg I once did a dance to “Bring Me To Life” for my dance recital in middle school and it was so emo. Now I have to watch this reaction 🤣

Omg. This album was my entire emo phase in high school 😂 This was perfect for how I was feeling this morning! Before Paramore, Amy Lee's voice was considered one of the top voices in the genre. It's been so many years, yet I still remember almost every lyric, damn. Tourniquet was one of my non-traditional favourites on the album (I mean with all the church symbolism in it I really enjoyed the fuck you of it). Hello has my favourite lyrics of the whole album, 'don't try to fix me I'm not broken' Also, this whole album is amazing with your eyes closed, outside laying in the sun with a breeze in like the spring or summer. Yeah, evanescence songs can sound a lot same same, but we were all there to listen to Amy Lee's voice so it was okay by us. It also meant for me listening, I focused more on the lyrics than the sound, which has always been hard for me. Whisper is so good! If you think her voice is good, you should hear her live. It is amazing to see what she did performing.

Fallen- Thank you very much for reacting to this album by Evanescence for me, Travis! I love Evanescence's music very much, and this first album of theirs is fantastic! I'm normally not a fan of rock music at all. However, like with movies... there are a few rare exceptions for every genre, whether I like them or not. The music in this album is powerful, as is all of Evanescence's music. And you really feel it, just as we're meant to. As for my favorite songs... My favorites are of course the two songs that most everyone knows from their popularity over the years. Bring Me to Life, and both versions of My Immortal. Especially My Immortal. I do love both versions very much. And I also really love Going Under as well. Amy Lee has an absolutely beautiful voice, and it's very unique in comparison to the music I am normally drawn to. And there's such power behind the words she writes and sings, which only amplify her words. It's really remarkable. And yes... Amy Lee is beautiful. I also really love the band as well. Amazing music! Thank you again, dear friend! I am happy you enjoyed listening to this album, and some time down the road, I will bring you back to more of Evanescence's music in their other albums too. My Immortal and bring me to life was in the movie soundtrack of Darwdevil starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Love her in that movie and her own movie Elektra.
