Henry Ziegland is the real case the bullet in a tree was based on; it was actually 20 years later though. It's crazy how many of these 911 episodes have cases based on real life events. Life is weird!

I know it’s probably bad but I was legit rooting for the tiger, even before the additional backstory lol and yeah, the writing is phenomenal on this show and i love Bobby’s story.

I love this show so much. 1x6, 1x7, and 1x8 are probably my three favorite episodes of season 1. I’m pretty sure that 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star have different writers, but both are usually well written. 9-1-1 definitely has some more gory things in it (lone star has a couple gory calls throughout it’s seasons, but definitely not as many as 9-1-1).

of course the bobby story absolutely destroyed me yet again. i feel like i’m always crying over him. that scene in the locker room and then at the end hit the feels so hard. chimney really is such a good friend too.
