I have such a curiosity and interested in the french Souza family. That situation in France seemed like it could have been its own episode, especially with the theme of one disturbed/crazy(?) member of a family "taking over" his siblings in a way. Shades of Theodore Gannt, etc. The older brother (Didier? not sure the french spelling) seems like an individual whose own backstory or family backstory spells a lot of dark interest. And then of course him labeling Mary as NTP due to her sympathy. His numbering of which hostages to kill, I wondered if there was something more there.

This was just masterful: the premise, the audio production, the writing, the performances. Listening to the play-by-play description of an insurance video may be my favorite KPH moment. ------- friend: what are you listening to? me: it's complicated

That would be a great commercial for the podcast! "What are you listening to?" "Um... it's complicated." :)
