You are hereby invited to a secret place in the mountains where one man decided that no matter what the date, it will always, always be Halloween night.

On iTunes and other feeds later today. If you missed the short tale "sugary" from some months back, it follows "attraction."

Podcaster Joe Riley has performed his own narration of "legend" for Halloween, here: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1683889

P.S. If you're interested in the Knifepoint Horror LP from Spook House Media featuring "staircase" and "panophobe," it can be ordered through Kunaki.com's rather primitive interface here: https://kunaki.com/Sales.asp?PID=PX00FCH0PE&PP=1   Note that it's a pricey bit of business, eek! That's to be expected in the early days of print-on-demand for this format, I suppose. I don't profit from this LP, so please don't feel the need to snag one on my account! The short story "panophobe" will be set loose to Patreon folk next Halloween.

So it's taken me FAR too long to get around to attraction. I'm always reluctant to rush right into a new KH. I'll listen to old episodes all day long (especially this time of year when they're my constant companion during Halloween prep and decorating) but a new episode needs to be savored. That, and they're a nice reward to hold over my own head for a time when I finish up everything else on my agenda. So, late though it may be, I have to congratulate you and thank you for one of my new all-time favorite episodes. Everything that makes KH so perfect to me is there. The isolation, the curiosity, the dread, the loneliness and the layered, half-glimpsed mysteries. It was so measured and so wonderfully atmospheric. Attraction is going to join Legend, Sounds, Laborer, Sisters and Bargain among the stories I listen to again and again and again. Thanks, again, Soren for sharing your talent and your powerful visions with us!

He may have passed away sure. Or... He may have followed you back down the mountain.
