There’s always a small element of worry that comes when you leave a stranger to watch your property, children, or pets. Even if you’re fully trusting, here comes that gnawing sense that you yourself may have created a problem, because you didn’t quite bring yourself to tell the sitter... everything.

Thea Lapp is played by Mig Windows.

Released everywhere else next Friday.

…And coming on Monday: Round 3 of the Knifepoint Horror Villain Playoffs!

Damn this is one of the best. The pure tension created by speculation up until the last moment is so good. So many misdirects that are all plausible. No one does it like Soren

This was such an insightful story about getting to know a dog and comforting it. There was tension and fear, amazing as. always. But this really showed how we can take animals into our hearts, whether we expect to or not. I related to this as a pet sitter and it scared me! The protagonist ended up being such a hero.

This is off topic, but I have appreciated your work for years. It is sad that Amazon never recommends your books. I sort through horror with Stephen Graham Jones and Ramsey Campbell and other authors. You deserve to be shown in recommendations. Your works are that amazing… I am sorry that your books don’t show up. I love your stories and would buy them. But listening to them is creepy and unforgettable .
