It's Zim! (Patreon)

Enter the Florpus was great! I really liked Invader Zim back when it came out. I thought it's mix of nihilism with motivated energetic characters was unique. Of course there was the whole push back, people dismissed the "lol randum" humor. But I think it worked for Zim's case because it was more thoughtful than it even needed to be. It comes from specifically who the characters are, and its often used to further the plot.

And Enter the Florpus does it all very well, maintaining the wit with incredible animation. It's possibly the best "episode" of the series and not too many movies based on TV shows could ever say the same.

Drawing some fanart was a good excuse to stretch my legs again with a different style. The faces here are still more "psu" than they are "jhonen vasquez" but the dark inks and aggressive lines were so fun to do. I hope to bring that energy to some other pictures in the near future.
