Commission - Arro (Patreon)

another portrait commission! This one is of the commissioner's spotted hyena character Arro, dressed in a traditional Karelian shirt that's a real-life family heirloom (photograph).

The reference sheet they gave me was by an artist with a more cartoony style than mine, and the large, round pupils in his eyes were specifically called out with a dark brown color instead of black. I tried integrating that design point into my own rendition of the character, and I like how it turned out: it gives his eyes a soft, friendly look.
