Images #1 and #2 are spoiler-free rough sketches (#2 traced over in photoshop for clarity) for potential illustrations based on the latest book in the Locked Tomb series, Nona The Ninth, by Tamsin Muir. I finished reading Nona recently and I can't stop thinking about it-- about the big action setpieces and plot revelations, of course, but actually especially the quieter domestic scenes.

Images #3 and #4 are a couple pen drawings from my sketchbook: some doors and a very unsafe staircase, and then a still life of a charmingly cluttered hall table at my uncle's place in Vermont.
