After an unbelievable episode of Buffy, now this might be my favorite episode of Angel.  I can't believe the momentum of both shows at this point!  I'm so hyped to see more  of Darla v Angel, she's seriously becoming one of the best characters in the whole Buffyverse

As someone still not fully on the Angel train, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Love flashbacks and fully agree with you that the Darla actress has a great presence and chemistry with Angel. I had a bit of an evil grin on my face when you were making a case for the Dargel?/Arla??? ship (I have nothing against Bangle, though. well... I have a little against Bangel. I didn't think it was weird for him to be with Buffy when I was in my late teens/early twenties. NOW I think it's a bit icky.)

You will actually notice that episode sevens tend to be among the best, if not THE best episode of the season. The episodes Angel, Lie to Me, Revelations, The Initiative, Fool for Love, Darla, and more to come! are all episode sevens. They tend to be where the season really ramps up and we get the meat of what this season is going to be about.

Yes, with Buffy seasons, every episode 7 is significant and usually starts the main plot of the season. Lindsey cares about consent ... Dexter's code would not be fair with Angel. humans are off limits, and that's it. Angel killing thieves who steal because they starve would be gross.
