just think how far along Giles came along that he's actually concerned about Angel as well these days. I always did love Xanders line about losing Buffy. For all his idiocracy he always seems to know what to say when it counts

Yea, I always thought this was good character development that was done off-screen. Giles had to move on from Jenny AND rationalize that Angel was not responsible for her death. I believe this was probably made easier by the fact that he knew Buffy loved Angel. Good stuff.
