Which one did you like better, one or two? (we didn't agree)  But either way, I think we can all agree that the music is amazing... and does anyone else love Davy Jones?

Pretty sure the compass is just pointing to Jack because he is the key to saving Will and the crew, also Elizabeth only cuffed him to the ship to save everybody since the Kraken was after him, she obviously didn't feel good about doing it and cared enough about him to feel guilty and sad, but now they have a way to bring Jack back so Elizabeth is all for it to make up for what she did so I don't see how its flipflopping, also Jack smiled and called her a pirate so he is proud of her for embracing the Pirate Life, and as you can see from the fighting and strategy she isn't a damsel in distress anymore and is pretty badass, I would say all three are my favorite as they all tie nicely into each other as one big movie, and I just love our main trio and the crew that accompanies them, can't wait for the third since you didn't watch that one fully.

Oh that's interesting... I thought that the way the scene played out on the boat was indicating that Elizabeth found herself attracted to Jack, despite her best efforts not to be. I also think there could be a deeper message going on with Jack coming back to save the crew (despite most people assuming he would be selfish and not do the right thing) and Elizabeth becoming more of a pirate by trying to save her own skin (although regretting it like you said). It's a cool reversal/ commentary on the duality people possess. I agree though, the main trio are so fun to watch, and I like how they each develop over the course of the trilogy

That was fun, watching with you 2. :-) I haven't seen this since it came out. I saw this at the first showing at a local theater. It was a packed house and we had a blast! I gotta ask tho, do you watch through the credits to get the little added extras for these movies? They have a little teaser but looks like you stop when the credits start.
