I preferred Bly to Hill House. Just the pure tragedy of Bly has stayed with me for several years now. Hill House was tragic too, but Bly was like a gothic romance tragedy that I found so memorable. It’s profound and deeper. It’s hard to put into words. Bly haunts me harder than Hill House. The Fall of the House of Usher was good too but even it can’t bump Bly out of #1 for me. AND I think Peter’s tragedy was that his father was a pedo and would do things to Peter and his friends AND HIS MOM KNEW. Peter was tragic, sadly it wrecked him. He never had a chance.

I think the end part was just meant to show that Dani did in fact come to Jamie, though Jamie couldn't see her. I feel Jamie has many years ahead of her. I liked this series.

I have to say that I love Bly just as much as I love Hill House. they are very different stories and so I'm able to view them through different lenses. in general, I find them both on even footing as far as character and story go. that is to say that I cry just as much for both of them lol on the other hand, my absolute favorite so far is Midnight Mass and I do hope that you will get to that one at some point because, in my opinion, it's the best series Flanagan has released so far. it really is some of his best work and I can't wait to discuss it with you if you decide to react to it.
