So with Hill House coming to a close... give me an idea of what direction y'all would like to see the horror genre go.  (Bly Manor is coming soon to Patreon).  I have LOTS that I'm eager to see, from classics to much more recent.  Which type of scary is your type of scary?

Is that the American remake of "Let The Right One In"?

I’m a big zombie fan myself but I love all horror! Suggestions if you are interested: Quarantine (with Jennifer Carpenter), Train to Busan, Dawn of the dead (2004), From dusk til dawn, Vampires (1998), Tremors, and the Screams. :)

I'm a big fan of psychological horror! So I obviously voted for Psycho! I hope it's the 1960 version and not the vince vaughn remake though 😅 Looking forward to Bly Manor! 😍 Speaking of, you should try checking out Mike Flanagan's other works like Doctor Sleep (sequel to The Shining), Oculus, Hush and Gerald's Game! Those are imo his best works!

Ah, not sure it would ever win in a poll but I’d love to see you react to classic black and white films so of course it has to be ‘Psycho’ for me. Hitchcock has been super influential in helping me write suspense and there’s a lot you can learn from his films in general. I’m really not a fan of being scared 😅 but if not Psycho then I think ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ for sure…just cause when I saw the trailer recently it actually had me laughing. I’m sure it’s scary but I think some of the over the top scares are a bit dated nowadays.

I want you to see all the original classic slashers (Psycho. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th) so you can then watch the Scream franchise and not be spoiled because it references so much! :)

If The Invisible Man is the 2020 version, I'm in. I'm not a fan of Nightmare on Elm Street (Friday the 13th either) like most ... this is probably horror heresy, but I feel like it's just not very well made. I suppose I should appreciate it for whatever ground-breaking qualities it might have (relative to the horror genre in general), but ... can't do it. It's either too much or not enough cheese -- I can't decide.

Yay horror!
