Wish I could join in the livestream tomorrow, but it would be rather late on my end (2am). Still thank you for the hard work for both the weekly episodes and the WAH videos!

Kudos for mentioning Goddard, the other and earlier rocket pioneer. :-) Another great episode on another bloody week in an endless row!

I’ve always felt Patton and Montgomery should have been a partnership. It’s always seemed obvious to me that Montgomery was the sort of man who could design and craft complex sweeping military operations. But wasn’t as well equipped at adapting to events on the ground. Patton on the other hand in my opinion showed himself again and again as a man who wasn’t gifted at large scale military operations designs. But could almost effortlessly recognise and exploit the gap in a gnats rectum. I often wonder how the war and world would be different if patton had taken charge of D-Day once the operation commenced or if market garden would have been remembered as a feat of military genius if patton had taken control on the ground in both cases after Montgomery dreamed up and implemented the plan. But both Montgomery and patton are my favourite ww2 generals. Obviously Sir John Monash and Arthur Currie are my favourites from ww1. With Erwin Rommel and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk being the best of the central/axis powers.

How the British minimized the effect of the Vengeance weapons, the story they didn't tell the people living on the east side of London for a very long time.

Neither one of them could have ever overcome their egos enough for that scenario to work.

Where can one find a guide to all the symbols used on the maps?

I think we will just have to search for them. I'll let you know if I find them.
