Dear TimeGhost Army,

Thanks to all of you we have been able to expand our team, become more ambitious with our editing, and significantly increase our output of videos. February we hope to be one of our most ambitious months yet, with 20 videos in only 28 days, knock on wood.

This has not however come without growing pains. We're making this post today to firstly apologize that the WW2 early access has been delayed by a day or two for a few weeks now. Each time we're disappointed by the let down, and to keep writing posts apologizing for delays would ring hollow.

That's why we're making this post to inform you that episodes may continue to be released on Thursdays instead of Wednesdays. We are working to fix these hitches in our workflow and will continue to aim to have every episode out on Wednesday, but just know that in the coming weeks it won't be uncommon for early access to be released Thursday.

We made a promise to you that you would get access on Wednesdays, and we want to keep this promise. We're changing our work schedules, but because we need to respect the team's personal life those schedules can't be turned on a dime.

Thank you for being so incredibly understanding and supportive of us through smooth and rough seas, and we will get this resolved as soon as possible.

Love,

- TimeGhost Team

Take the time you need and take care of yourselves. Quality comes first, we are here because we enjoy the work you do, not because it comes on a Wednesday :)

I'm paying to keep the videos coming not to get them on Wednesday.

Please don't worry yourselves sick over missing a few (self-imposed) deadlines. What matters is that you consistently produce the most thorough, informative and entertaining series about the war. Publish when you're satisfied with your work, not to meet some arbitrary goal. The reason I'm supporting this endeavor is to feel closer to my grandfather who was also part of this. He would appreciate the collosal effort involved and your commitment to telling the story right. Reading through the comments here shows that sentiment is shared far and wide.

Stop worrying and get a balanced work life. None of us are willing to kill you to get a video 24 hours earlier. This could end up being one of the greatest documentaries on WW2 made to date. We want quality over timing.

Also from me, no big deal. I didn't join because of the advance release, actually I often take a few days myself to get the chance to look at it - I try to be in the same week though! I want to support the great and in my view unprecedented work you are doing, and if that takes a little longer, so be it.

You should make a poll to see how many patreons actually care about receiving episodes early. Maybe you're stressing yourself needlesly.

likewise, upped ny contribution, not because of early access, but due to the fantastic content you keep on providing. If I have to wait 1 or 2 days to get better quality, I say bring it on.

Being a content creator covering events that are atleast half a century old, my humble opinion is to chill with good conscience on the patreon-benefit part of early access, in periods when things pile up. It's a different story if one would be covering really recent events (like premium/quality news), and it's a real benefit of actually getting the info earlier than the public

Don't worry about it. I support Timeghost because I like the content and believe that it is something that should be made. I don't actually care too much about getting early access to the videos, though it is certainly a nice bonus. :3

Since I consider your videos a Sunday morning treat, I really don't mind 😂 but I'm sure we appreciate your candour nonetheless.
