Dear TimeGhost Army,

We're very excited to share with you our latest project: TimeGhost Shorts. You're probably aware that most of our documentaries are anything but shorts (looking at you, Pearl Harbor minute by minute), but this new format allows us to get across some of the historical topics and themes that we feel are important in a short and attention grabbing way.

Whether it be looking at a time period season by season (Between 2 Wars), week by week (World War 2), day by day (Cuban Missile Crisis), or minute by minute (Pearl Harbor), it's you that make it possible for us to experiment with new and interesting documentary formats. Recently we've been able to hire new writers, editors, graphic designers, and a proof-reader/fact checkers, all thanks to your support. This new series is a result of those extra resources, so from the bottom our hearts: thank you for making history.

Let us know your thoughts and which subjects you'd like to see covered in the future!

Love,

- The TimeGhost Team.

Versailles Treaty ≠ Hitler’s Rise to Power

It’s a myth that the “humiliation” and financial effects of the WWI peace treaty imposed on Germany gave rise to Nazism - here’s why. Short and sweet. I like what you're doing here.

This was delicious! I’m onboard for anything that means more content, and the new format fills a great niche.

Will Stalingrad have its own special episode(s)?

Anonymous

2 suggestions — 1) The Berlin Airlift. 2) the building of the Berlin Wall

Could you do an episode on the time that PepsiCo had the world’s sixth most powerful navy.

subject of interest (?)while not specifically about only WWII, the historical perspective of the usage of "the big lie' , nd alienated base and so forth . . . gotta be some good shenanigans out there

Normally I'm not really too big a fan of Shorts videos, but this looks good. Happy to support it!

Love the shorts format. Great addition.

I think using this short and punchy format is very much suited to this mythbusting. Carry on!

We will certainly release special episodes regarding aspects of Stalingrad and it's role in the war, though we're not sure exactly how we plan to cover it just yet.

Well this just made my week to find another 'scaper on the TimeGhost team! Hopefully I'll see you in-game someday =) Maxed / MQC, working on Trim someday if I can ever manage Telos.

Keep up the good work.

How about a run down of the smaller countries? What's going throughout Australia and New Zealand with Japan at the door step. Or the occupation in Netherlands and Norway after all this time. Or counties like Hungary and Romania, is the population for or against the war. How do these smaller countries keep up with production? Or I just finished reading blood and sand by Alex Von Tunzelmann Which is about the Suez crisis and the up raising in Budapest in 1956. That might be a good one though it might be tough to do a short on it haha

That's quite something. I stopped playing a few years back but got up to max combat stats and finished up ROTM. When divination came out I grinded it a little too much and ended up burning myself out, but for a few weeks I was toward the top of the high scores. I should stop talking about RuneScape from the TimeGhost page, but glad to hear it's still going strong. Sparty if you're reading this, please don't fire me for this! - Ian

I actually met some men who flew in the Berlin Airlift. My Dad had been a Transport pilot in the US during WW2 and had shared experiences with the guys. How I wish I had written down what I heard. The only thing I remember was how dangerous the flying was in the fog.

A great video, a big rethink of one of the myths of World War 2. I love this shorts very much as they bring a topic succinctly in focus :-)
