This winter, a far-right Putsch in Germany is attempted, but quickly crushed by a revolutionary nationwide general strike carried out by the working people of Germany. Hitler is becoming politically active around this time too, announcing a National Socialist Program to the Nazi Party. There is good news though, as the first attempt at international diplomatic coordination begins with the first meeting of the League of Nations. In the US, the era of prohibition officially begins in mid January, breakthroughs in rocket science are achieved, and the Red Scare continues to persecute trade unionists, socialists, and communists.
