After all the high stakes politics and complicated international dealings of the Suez Crisis, we’ve decided to take a little break from the weighty seriousness and offer you something a little more lighthearted - but nonetheless dramatic - this week.

Some of you may have already seen the episodes of our World DicKtionary on the TimeGhost YouTube channel. For those of you that haven’t, the World DicKtionary basically is exactly what it sounds like: a dictionary A-Z of people who - in one way or another - were real d*cks.

So far we’ve covered letters A-J, where Indy have dealt with historical d*icks like industrial magnate Henry Ford, eugenics enthusiast Otmar von Vershuen, gangster Arnold Rothstien, and Hetty Green - the Witch of Wall Street.

Today, the turn has come to the letter K, and it’s going to get gory. Because K is for killer, and the d*ck covered in today’s episode is none other than Lady Elizabeth Báthory.

Enjoy!

My entry for who's a dick that you guys should do a segment about would be Hernan Cortes and Pedro de Alvarado for the way they slaughtered thousands of Indigenous peoples in their conquest of Mexico.

Grady Hendrix covered this recently on his podcast Super Scary Haunted Homeschool, as well. Fascinating stuff. :)

1) When is the Bathory track dropping? 2) George Augustus Robinson, Protector of the Tasmanian Aborigines (ironically not!) in the 1820s and 1830s and a first class dick.

Alright I have a few Dick suggestions to whip out: Idi Amin: lunatic dictator of Uganda Tomas de Torquemada: Grand Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition, probably the one person you don't want to upset Leopold II of Belgium: set up a personal colony murdered its populace mercilessly Qin Shi Huang: First Emperor or China. Incredibly paranoid and killed many of own people Caligula: Third Emperor of Rome. Openly incestuous with his sisters and pimped them out to others and made his horse a Roman Priest

Torquemada: Do not implore him for compassion Torquemada: Do not beg him for forgiveness Torquemada: Do not ask him for mercy Face it, you can't Torquemada anything!

John Perez

Doug- But, you must admit, that Torquemada sure can carry a tune, and puts on one hell of a show to boot! Chorus: “Hey Torquemada, waddayya say?” Torquemada: “I just got back from an auto da fe.” Chorus: “Auto da fe? What’s an auto da fe?” Torquemada: “It’s what you oughtn’t to do, but you do anyway!”
