Loving it already. All Hell Let Loose is truly a masterpiece on how people more or less blundered and survived their way through WWII.

Love this! Keep it up. I still wonder if Indy is going to give a wink, wink, nudge, nudge about Great War places/people during this episodes, thought of that when he mentioned Przemysl during the German advance and Martin Gilbert citation.

Nice! ^_^

... You know, after two episodes I'm already pissed off. At school Poland had been barely discussed as a weak nation that got rolled over by the mighty Wehrmacht, the SS police force following the army not even mentioned. Those are things I should have known growing up.

A fantastic start! I learned far more about the Great War from Indy and team than I ever did at School. I am certain the same will be true for the Second Great War. I am already learning new things I didn't know before. 🙂

I appreciated that it even mentioned the massacre of civillians on Poland side. unlike WWI, this war became brutal and dark in the very beginning.

Still, I hope to see more coverage of the full-scale war in Asia between Japan and China, since you already reported the conflict between USSR and Japan in episode 1. It would be better if you mentioned the resignation of Japanese prime minister after the defeat in Mongolia and the announcement from new Japanese PM on Sep 5 1939 after German invasion of Poland that Japan would focus on the war with China and stay neutral in European affairs. BTW, is that a map of Sep 1st 1939 behind your back? If it is, then it is very erroneous. Because Japan had already occupied vast land and many major cities in the center and along the coast of China after its invasion of China on July 7 1937. If it is a map of some date earlier than July 7 1937 then it is fine.

Could you describe the view of the common person? What information they had? What the sources of authority in their societies - especially in the totalitarian societies - were telling them? How were their opinions shaped, their efforts co-opted and their passions manipulated?

Hello guys, could you please approve Russian subtitles for this video? I translated it quite some time ago (maybe other people also participated), but they are not visible in the video. I am not fully sure if it depends on your approval or something else should happen before it.
