I know I can't be the only person that loves a good spinach dip?

And what better way to enjoy it, than to make it into a whole macro friendly meal!

The cool thing about this recipe is that it doubles as a filling pasta meal, or simply as a spinach dip for your next pot luck at work :)

All you have to do is make it according to the instructions and leave out the pasta. Enjoy with your favorite dipper of choice and you're golden.

How do you keep the cheese from clumping?

Your better off shredding your own cheese. Packaged cheese comes with cornstarch and it can make it hard to melt. Also when adding cheese it’s best to turn off heat to let them melt and then turn heat back on.

Added a little bit of chicken and i had a bunch of swiss chard growing so threw it in instead of spinach 😋

If you're doing just one grilled breast that will lower the protein content quite a bit and probably wont be as filling.

So I know I can substitute the cream cheese and the shredded cheese for non-dairy options but does anyone have any suggestions on a dairy free option for the sour cream?

Can greek yogurt be substituted for the sour cream? I’ve hear that they are exchangeable but I’m not sure how it affects the taste. Thank you!

Do you have a general calculation for switching milk? I use fresh milk not store bought and I'm curious how many calories that adds to these receipes.

I made this dip as an appetizer for a party (minus the pasta) and it was a hit!

This was amazing!!! But when I added the shredded cheese, the sauce mixture became clumpy. Any idea why? I used reduced fat mozzarella

Wow- this was SO good! I subbed artichoke hearts for the water chestnuts for extra fiber and it’s amazing!
