I'd rather they avoid the first trailer since it's pretty spoilery but the second and third trailers would be cool to see them react to while we wait for Season 2.

honestly i became patreon just because they picked up this series and im supporting with the hope they will react to S2 real-time. I will be extremely dissapointed if they put MT aside for other series (but, Ben has been praising the series so much every episode that i dont think that will happen)

One thing you have to understand is that Rudeus caused Eris to develop an inferiority complex. It is easier to understand in the novel, but you can't always translate everything perfectly into TV format. Basically, throughout their journey, she never felt like she was growing, and she felt like she was a burden on Rudeus. So defeating the assassins was a big moment for her in the books. She was always surrounded by incredible people like Ruijerd and Rudeus, and this was the first time she realized how much she had improved. It makes it all the more sad when that newfound confidence comes crashing down after being helpless against Orsted while Rudeus showed that he was better than her again by injuring him.

They have 3 anime they have enjoyed (based on their reaction/discussion comments) - MT, JJK, and Horimiya - which have new content coming in July. Conveniently, Oshi No Ko S1, the current Demonslayer arc, and MHA should be wrapped up from their current viewing list by then. Not sure if they plan to swap those all in for those three, but it looks like they’d have space for something(s) from summer.
