After I first watched this episode my sus meter for Emilia went up more for some reason tho I don’t want to be sus of her because I love her 😂 but just the way she talks sometimes and how we really don’t know anything about her leaves me feeling uneasy

The sound design for this series is underrated, the change in audio when she leans in to whisper in his ear is actually perfect.

There's an error in the subs when Subaru talks about Emilia stealing Satella's name. "If people saw her as crazy, she wouldn't have to get caught up in this royal election business" doesn't fit, what Subaru is thinking is that she borrowed Satella's name to scare other people off (specifically Subaru) so that they wouldn't get involved in the struggle for the throne by helping her

Yeah and it still sucks but atleast MT releases line up pretty well for season 2 as well as being less than half as long as this. At this rate it'll literally be more than 10 months till they're done with Re:Zero and then they'll watch season 3 whenever that comes out.

I will say that Emilia's "Subaru is a good boy" from the director's cut is a harder hitting line than "Subaru is a good person". But thinking on it, calling him a "good person" may be more influential than calling him "a good boy".
