Still hoping for a second episode weekly :/ I think the idea is "more shows = more patreons", but if the shows are only progressing at 4 episodes a month, people like me are gonna just unsub and come back in a year when the show is finished. I'd rather watch it together with you but taking almost a year to complete a series is too slow for me.

There's also the idea that they have jobs outside of this patreon (or at least I think Ben does) and life outside of this. If they start watching two episodes weekly then other patrons are going to be pissed and want two eps per week for their other shows. Which could lead to them spending double the amount of time from dbl eps of everything. Also, making lame, soft, passive-aggressive threats of unsubbing is pretty low, in my opinion and a stupid attempt at manipulation to make someone do something you want like a petulant child angry something isn't going their way for once. And it's ironic since we watch (or at least most do I think) because we like these two as people and usually you want to be supportive towards those you like, not try and intimidate them with threats of withholding money.

You realize they have done 2 episodes a week for multiple shows before. And some of those just recently ended. And this is the longest series they're currently watching. Not sure what about that you find so offensive.

To be honest I think both of you have a point. Firstly, it’s not a threat to say you will stop subbing, but it’s an unfortunate reality of a lot of reaction channels. There will be a few types of subs, people who stick with a content creator and people who stick with a show and bingers. Some people will undoubtedly enjoy their content but want to sub for a particular show. In the case of Re: Zero, at one episode a week it has over a year’s worth of content. Some people will just not want to wait a full year, drip feeding the show one episode a week, so they’ll just wait until all episodes have been released, pay a subscription fee and bing it in a month. And if that’s the only show you’re interested in and you don’t have much money to spare it’s honestly not a bad thing to do, it’s the reality of this sort of content. To be honest I don’t think the person was being threatening but just giving some genuine feedback about what would make them become a regular subscriber. I’m a bit of a binger, so I hate watching stuff one episode at a time, week on week. I still sub to Ben and Anna because I really enjoy their content and want to support them, but I wouldn’t lie and say I’d prefer them to do one show at a time and release more of it because I won’t watch any until the series is over and then binge it in a weekend when I have some time. But then I’ve also got enough spare money to be happy to support people to do this. They don’t have infinite time to just react to shows all day, then edit etc. and still live a life, especially if they have day jobs, but you also have to respect the daft people may just want to watch along for one particular show and might prefer to wait until the show is done and watch it all at once, and therefore by releasing slower content you risk these people just signing up once and not becoming regular. I don’t know enough about the business model to know what percentage of people do each one, but they need to balance multiple shows to bring in people, but also frequent enough uploads to avoid people just signing up once when it’s all done and leaving when they’re done and it’s probably not an easy thing to do! We just need to appreciate the content they do produce and enjoy it when we can :)

Since the story if presented from Subaru's point of view it is hard for the viewer to understand how the side characters are feeling. About Rem and Ram holding Subaru's hands... The way I see it is in one timeline where Subaru stays at the mansion as a guest and looks around suspiciously, well... He becomes sus, so sus that Rem is willing to kill him. Remember, they don't know him, this is the first time they ate meeting him. But in another timeline where he wakes up screaming, stays in bed for days and has nightmares, the maids can't help but feel sorry for him, he is their guest after all, so they hold his hand while he is hvaing a nightmare to try and ease his pain as little as it might help. The point is, the side character's opinion of Subaru drasticaly changes depending on how he acts, but that is not obvious for the viewer because it us not focused on. It is not really the viewer's fault, its just how the show is written. Just as the viewer is confused about the maids acting differently in different timelines, so is Subaru but I think that that's kinda the point. IMO Subaru kinda fails to see others and focuses too on himself even though his intentions may be good, which is one of his character flaws.
