Make sure you guys watch the next one in Blu Ray as it has some really neat adjustments (well if you can every episode, but yeah 👍)

Holy shit they're finally here. God I can't wait until they watch the next episode.

I honestly don't know how they weren't crying. Everytime I watch the scene of Grisha, raving in anguish over what he did, killing children... and then hugging Zeke and telling him he loved him, everything Zeke has ever wanted to hear from his father since he was a child. I'm a 50 year old man and I cry like a baby. Every. Time. Any reaction video or just watching the episode itself, I'm a total wreck. Best freaking episode...

Is the blu ray even available? They said they couldn't find it to buy it when they started S4 part two.

Ben was choking and his eyes went all watered, when Griesha told Zeke he should've spent more time with him. Anna was more shocked at what Eren was doing, that's probably why she couldn't get into the wibe completely, but I understand that. I cried too, for like at least the first 10 times I watched this scene, but that's probably because I read the manga and I saw the Eren twist coming, so Griesha's VA killing the scene was by far the most shocking thing in the episode for me. But I can also relate to people who's just learned that Eren was the "villain" all along and are just completely overwhelmed with shock rather than grief at this moment.

Are you literally saying people should cry over something just because you cried...people have different ways of absorbing matters you know

Grisha's voice actor in this episode man, i get chills every time I see the scene of him losing it after killing the reiss family just because of how well the voice actor did

From their other videos, it seems to me that Ben is more prompt to cry than Anna. Like Hojeong Chun said, everyone has their own ways of expressing what they feel. But even Anna was very close to tears too at the beginning of the scene, when Grisha was screaming about having killed the children.

I was waiting for your reaction to the title card, but you were talking about something else when it appeared and didn't really saw it. But Ben's reaction whe Grisha explained the particularity of the Attack Titan made up for it : "it's happening! It's happening! It's happening, it's happening, it's happening!" :DD

This episode is what pushed me to read the manga. I HAD to know what the fuck was hapenning 😂 There was no way I could wait to figure out the rest of the story.

@HC - Of course not but they have cried before, Ben more than Anna, she said she tries not to, I think so she doesn't miss anything. Anyway, it's hard to decipher tone reading text so I'll say it straight out, how you took my comment wasn't close to my intention when writing it. But I do have a problem if you've never cried to that scene. 😉

In my experience, if someone doesn't cry when a very touching or profound thing happens, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't feel the emotions. People process and show emotions differently. Some people laugh when they feel sad or despair. Some people go numb or closed off when they experience intense emotions and can come across as unfeeling. In this case, I do agree with you that I also think they were trying not to because they were doing reaction and wouldn't want to miss anything.

Hey guys. I've been checking out your reactions to Attack on Titan for.. I don't know how long now, lol.. But it's been amazing. You two are by far in my top 5 favorite reactors. There are people that react to this anime just because it's so popular they KNOW they will get views and then there are people like you guys, who TRULY appreciate the beauty of this show and are fully invested. I love it. There's so much I want to talk to you guys about but I'll say some brief things for now. 1st. Reiner is by far my favorite character in this anime. He is one of the most well written characters I've seen in anything. Every time I witness the pain he is feeling from what he did to the people of Paradis Island it breaks me. The amount of guilt that he feels. I could talk about Reiner forever but I just wanted to mention he's my favorite. 2nd. I'll talk about this episode. I will not lie, when I watched this episode I was so fucking lost that I couldn't process what the hell was happening. I was so lost that I didn't even cry. Grisha being able to touch Zeke.. it just threw me off so hard. I made the mistake of watching Attack on Titan too fast and not processing scenes/characters. It's smart of you guys to write down notes. Although, at the same time, sometimes I feel like people who try to squeeze every bit of detail out of each episode ruin some of the surprise factors of shows because you're too busy taking notes and not just enjoying the show. Maybe I'm wrong, idk. Regardless, every time I watch this episode now it brings me to tears. I think through Grisha's experience with his new family with Carla, and raising Eren, he truly understood what he missed with his first son, Zeke. And like this episode showed, he thought about Zeke quite a lot. For him to be able to finally talk to Zeke after so many years must of been like a blessing to him and clearly it was overwhelming. If he could, I bet he would of hugged Zeke forever..

Kozmo

I agree Reiner is my favourite character as well. But to your second point I was lost as well this episode and its largerly because they dont really explain how Eren is influencing Grisha until the next episode.

I'll let you in on something I told myself just recently (but since I'm typing it here, everyone in here will know so whatever, but) I'm going to root for Reiner with all my heart in the next season of AOT. I'm sure that he is going to die, so it's foolish of me, but I want to fight for him. I've been silently rooting for Reiner since the later half of Season 3. And Season 4 is what truly made me fall in love with the character. I want this all to end for Reiner and him just live a happy life but I don't believe it will happen. All I know is that the next season of AOT I am going to cheer for him so hard.
