Hi guys!

Given the chance to get "Examination Mode" as a stand alone game, namely priced about 8,99$ and containing about 100 scripted examinations as well as random exams, sorta of a "spinoff" of General Practitioner, would you buy it?

Looking forward to hear your thoughts about this one.

Given where you're asking, results are going to be skewed, and a lot of the people who would buy something along those lines (medical students, etc) might think it's tainted by association and not get it anyway. I don't have a huge frame of reference for what you're trying to do, creating a game that also teaches or tests, but there are a few examples to look at. The Trauma Center games Nevenga mentioned, and also Nimble Strong, Bartender in Training on the iPhone. I think ultimately you need to decide if you're making a game or a training tool, and if the latter, how can you best target that demographic. You may also want to try to develop a new "look" for the game to further separate it into something innocent that can be sold on Steam or Switch or something, possibly more cell-shaded or polarized something. Maybe even a new protagonist like a young prodigy (boy or girl).

The exams seems to require a lot of knowledge not on hand or available through the game to learn. (E.g. anytime you take a test to increase knowledge, most the time the topics aren't in the codex). I like how Barry put it: more of a mini game to help advance the other aspects of the game.
