I know what you're thinking: "Another big change in the examination's gameplay?". Yeah, and I'm sure this will be the final one.

I wasn't keen about the old method, the one based on "Trust level" because trust itself isn't the only thing that  makes us go more or less willingly to see a doctor. Our "comfort level" is  deeper than trust and I think many more factors need to be included.

So, starting with 005b you'll find a new game mechanic that you can read about here:

Every examination has been updated to include the "Comfort Level" (CL) of a patient.

The CL substitutes the "Trust level" of the patient.

The comfort level of a patient is calculated both by the patient's trust towards you and his/her mood, education and shyness.

Every patient will have a different CL, it's up to you to raise it to a level where you can treat him/her in the best of ways.

Every action will affect the CL, from asking questions to having the patient undress to examining him/her body parts.

Each patient has a different mood. While a patient can be looking for professional doctors, another one could look for a more strict one.

Some even prefer a playful medic, while some others are looking for more sexual stuff. It's up to you to determine your patient's character and behave accordingly.

You can now reply to a patient in seven different ways:

- Calm

- Professional

- Strict

- Sensitive

- Charming

- Flirty

- Playful

Each patient will see his/her CL raise/lower based on your behaviour and his/her character. Each patient is now based on one of six archetipes (some will be added in future updates):

- Normal

- Doubtful

- Agitated

- Sad

- Shy

- Sensual

- Tired

Each archetipe works with the MC's methods in a rock/paper/scissors kind of combination. A sad patient could be stimulated by a playful answer, or even a calm one, while shy patients could get mad if they receive a flirty answer from their caregiver.

The CL influences everything in the exam, from asking a patient to undress to examining him/her, up to giving a proper medical evaluation of the issue at hand.

This has been done to improve the realism of the simulation part of the  game, what you think  about it?

So will there be more character skills or at least will those 4 there are be more balanced. Because to improce my knowledge I can only do in the night an it only increase with 1 point at the time. Since I start with 10 point and max is 100, I have to study 90 days. Where as charm can be raised with 3 point in the pool, 5 in the gym (so why go to the pool?) and if I go ro timasseus I get up tp 10 point and with a max on 100, it is very easy to max charm. That is not balanced and I dont seem to loose any energy at al, except if I go to the masseus. I can earn sexperience at the masseuse but there is not stat on my charcter. I dont know if it have already been take care of, I tried to read the open posts at your pages, but couldnt see it. I maxed the charm in the first 30 days or less and I suppose that is not the idea. So hope it will balanced.

Game stats are nothing more than a placeholder right now. I still have to decide if I will keep them as the game's being developed or if I will toss them out (except for the hidden "Fame" stat of the clinic, that will surely be present in the final release as well). Since I still haven't developed them yet, they are unbalanced by their own nature. When I will begin to use them in the game you (as alpha testers) will be asked to give me feedback about their balance and actual fun, because most games out there become a little boring when a dev ask to grind stats, so I'm thinking a way to both use them and make them funny to develop. In that Persona 5 is my ideal kind of stat-grinding while having fun.

Gym and pool, while both raise the same stat, are two separate places because there will be some events that will take place in one place or the other. Please have a little patience since the game is just at its 5th main update and is actually 3 months old :D

In away I like that there is stats it makes the game more diversified. But if it end up with the players have to be forced to have do alot of grinding it is better to cut the stats out, to keep the fun. You could cut the stats away and make it so that when you begin the game, you could choose some personality trades about your character, you get a list of maybe 10-20 skills where you can choose a few. These personality trades will give you options in the game you else wouldn have in some situations. You could also have some medical strength, you again choose from a list with 10-20 options. where you are better than other. Which would make you more succesfull during the game and again give you options if you have that medic trade. Also if you are very good your job as a doctor you should could pick up one or more extra skill over the year. The same in personal matters, you are very active in the gym you could get a physic/health bonus. Or something else. The possibilities are many, if you are interested in this model.
