Personally I think Ben’s growth in the original series is ignored because it’s very redundant. A lot of the lessons he learns are ignored and he repeats the same mistakes. Of course this makes sense for a 10-year old kid, but we don’t see the character growth stay until Alien Force. Personally, I feel like it still very much is Ben’s show but the other characters are interesting enough to where the focus doesn’t always have to be on him like it used to be. More than anything, AF is about Ben becoming a leader figure to the number of interesting plumber personalities we’ve met so far. He makes mistakes- Darkstar- and acknowledges those and continues marching forward.

Probably because a lot of the original Ben 10 is episodic in nature while Alien Force is more serialized.

I’m pretty sure they knew they were plumbers’ kids. They just thought they came from outer space rather than being mutants.

The reason why they probably labeled it as Ben 10 Alien Force Classic is because that’s probably refers to the 4 series(OG, AF,UA, OV) all those series are referred to the “classic Continuity “ aka anything pre reboot

I think a big part of it is Ben is just so strong now that whenever he turns he just wins or saves the other 2. Meanwhile Gwen and Kevin still struggle here and there.
